📍 infinity spa pampanga. I was so excited to visit this spa just to be disappointed. I just take a shower and wait for my friends at the lobby. I want to express my disappointment regarding the condition of the wet area facilities. However the crowd of IS is always the best.

For context, here are some of my experiences in local saunas/bathhouses: One time, kapapasok na kapapasok ko lang sa spa, may nakabuntot na agad sakin. I hadn't showered and was not in the mood to do anything yet, so I didn't make eye contact or any signal. Sinundan pa rin ako till makapasok ako sa cubicle. I thought okay na, but then inalog-alog niya yung door ilang beses, na parang hayok na hayok. 😬 I've also had the experience na may silip nang silip sa kurtina. Ilang beses kong sinara, silip pa rin, so I just left without even getting to shower kasi badtrip na ako from the guy. 🙄 Look, if I want to be watched, I'll use the open showers; otherwise, that means no. Another time naman, a guy literally just walked into my stall and started touching me. I tried to tell him I didn't want to do anything. Dahil pasara na rin yung place, he told me I wouldn't find anyone better since, I quote, "Matataba na lang andito." 🤦🏻‍♂️ Syempre not all places are like this, and not everyone who goes to these places is like this. But it has happened way too often that I feel like these places and even their ambassadors should (re)educate their patrons on consent. A long time ago, someone told me there is "unspoken consent" when entering these kinds of establishments. This gaslit me into thinking maybe I'm just being "maarte." I disagree with this now, because consent can and should be taken back when things don't feel right or you're not into something.

First spa experience A friend recommended 4South so na-curious ako and I decided to try it. I went there last Friday after work. First impression: ang linis ng place and honestly parang resort yung vibe, not your typical spa. I was assigned to Thera Norman. @4southhub
