@inner_concerns @uwu_underground Evidently the creator of Yurei Deco is a Rush fan (like I am) and actually embedded a bunch of references to 2112 in the anime. So the similarities in stories between mine and that are because 2112 would be a direct influence. There's a Rush cover on the full album coming at DC34

@inner_concerns @uwu_underground This is based on an extension of some long time role play stories I've been telling with friends in the City of Heroes universe with some hacker concepts. Though, I'll take that and raise you Rush's 2112 - or Ayn Rand's Anthem.

@uwu_underground like embedding images in ultra and subsonic stuff is pretty common, but in width and dynamic range I haven't heard of.

@exposurekills we have done this :) Our tracks feature hidden images, hints, QR codes, other songs esp in the ARG

Has anyone ever dropped 0day in a track before?

@uwu_underground in the actual dynamics? I've not heard of many (or any people doing this), there's a couple papers out there, but they don't quite do it how I do (in sample peaks, changing thresholds, and implementing winnow/chaff) That's cool, there's not many tools to interpret these things.

Album's done writing. Now I just have to get the vocalists stuff back (but I've been told ReSing vox are fine because I did the performance they were based on, so I may leave some of them, especially in terms of the penultimate song, which a vocalist would be HARD to find.

Been so into writing my concept album. I have two more songs to do and they are in various stages of lyrics writing right now. I'm pretty proud of this, I've been at it for months. THis latest one uses 4 VCR models for the vox until I can get my vocalists in the studio.

@kmcnam1 @LPNH Yeah, the LP's become serious bootlickers. They are totally lost these days. I've washed my hands of them, especially LPNH who were some of the first to go. Where "Live Free or Die" means "Live Free, You Die" instead.

this guy freaked out after i made a quick IG story abt how i don’t mentor & to please stop asking me for it as a free service. 99% of ppl are kind & wonderful & would never say things like this, so im not highlighting it as a way to ask for pity or something. my feelings are quite difficult to hurt at this point. but i do wonder sometimes what concentration of people harbor intense parasocial relationships & genuinely feel the need to lash out at folks online when those relationships don’t pan out exactly as they expect. side note though: i dont & wont mentor anyone at this point in my career, least of all some random commenter from IG
