@ecologybro @eftegarie Ultimately, it all fits together. Connecting the dots is source of the cost-efficiency. This requires seeing both the big picture and all of the little pictures w/o boxing them up.

One problem with the ERE book is how it often exceeds the expectations of the mainstream Overton window of personal finance. (Note how drinking from the fire hose is bad for you!) Those expecting but a few nuggets and tips from their occasional reading are quickly overwhelmed.
