We dont need MORE of those people, let them go back.

其实拿到几十 k 的 package 变成了几个 M的都是人中龙凤，眼光和能力无一不超群。你得在20年三月或者22年底左右这种特殊时间节点拿到大包offer，才能起飞。而这些节点正是大厂们最慌，人头最少甚至大规模裁员都时候。难度可想而知。
大多数人，包括我在内，都是21年底狂暴牛顶被骗进去割韭菜的。各家的股价都是高峰，rsu跟不要钱一样发，随便面面就能进去拿所谓的“大包”。但大家都不知道，入局就是高峰，后面是无尽下坡。

看一个美国华人匿名净资产帖，表面各有各的都市凡尔赛文学，像村口分享老公偷电瓶车的傻娘们。但细看很有意思的是工作 6 年的和工作 12 年的差距并不大。
这里面的秘密就是，疫情的时候有没有在科技公司上班接天上放的水。接到的股票 package 都翻了很多倍。几十 k 的 package 变成了几个 M。
本质上最近五年疫情后无限 QE 下的美股和加密货币，将来回看可能是 90 后最大规模的 generational wealth 机会。有点像有没有吃到 13-17 最后一波中国房地产红利，原本一样的家庭，如果每隔个五年十年没有主动或者被动的正确出手一次，财富差距就拉开了。

A couple years back Microsoft Vancouver is paying 85k CAD to a new grad engineer, while the same role could be paid up to 150k usd in the states.
The gap has significantly narrowed after Covid and I am greatful for it
