@danylanzhou Curious, because Tyrosh was where the Blackfyres had settled after the fall of Daemon I. GRRM picked Braavos, the refuge founded by former slaves. Dany is effectively Braavos's original spirit before gold became the god "truly worshipped" rather than the misogynist Blackfyres.

dany’s house with the red door originally being in tyrosh to #me signifies that grrm changed the location to braavos because he wanted the sealord connection.

@danylanzhou It would be a very long trip for Bran, someone would have to watch over him, likely Jon. The only way I see him there is at the end. If KL burns, and they decide to move the capital to somewhere along the Gods Eye, I can imagine Jon would take him there.

@eyeofthephantom also thank you for your praise!! i’m so excited to see what paths grrm takes both bran and dany down in terms of this power. to your point about the isle of faces, do you think bran might hide there during the war for the dawn?

@danylanzhou I figured if she makes a base at Harrenhal where Bonifer would surely yield the castle to her, the Isle of Faces is a short distance away from dragonback (see Addam of Hull). She seems the character most able to do so, and they might tell her the existence of another Targaryen:

@eyeofthephantom i never considered dany visiting the isle of faces until this and my god i think this is brilliant! at very least i can easily see her being able to see it by using a glass candle. i completely agree too that, like vaes tolorro, it would be a tempting vision of peaceful living

I like the "agriculture uses way more water than ai" argument because it implies that asking grok to put someone in a bikini is just as important as literally eating food

@virginrosess I think her first living kid will be a girl as well, and her daughter will also be her first child born of love.

Yes! following her rule of three after her miscarriage in the dothraki sea, it seems to me that she will have a child. Its so important to me that her child would be a daughter bc the idea of a restored targaryen dynasty led by women feels narratively meaningful-

@danylanzhou It might even be a temptation for Dany given it is likely ASOIAF Avalon: a primeval forest, Edenic fairyland with plenty of trees fitting with her desire for trees from the lemon tree to planting olives and a place of peace away from war.

@danylanzhou Excellent work. I think Dany visiting the Isle of Faces may turn out to be an Old Gods version of the Undying: withered corpses with green skin as opposed to blue and white trees as opposed to black trees. Children of the forest as opposed to the dwarves.

Ned didn't fail Robert but the other way around. Robert failed everyone. The boar itself was a result Robert's refusal to take on responsibility and spend his reign in leisure, his arrogance, his overindulgence in his vices and his spousal abuse with Cersei supplying the wine.

@FoxyMarxist Then don't flog yourself. Being a college student doesn't automatically make you a working class enemy and you're not doing it to be one.

Note: I had received info from someone associated with the hospital that ventilator patients had died. Deleted it after I spoke to more people as it seems that there is some uncertainty from other staff/officials. Seemed irresponsible to keep up until clarification can be made.
James🔻@GoodVibePolitik

There’s something supremely saddening and enraging about seeing a hospital running on bare minimum power. Thinking about dialysis patients, babies in NICU, and others tonight in Cuba. This is a blockade of death.

@Biburluve He's more Daeron II: bringing opposing kingdom through peaceful negotiations and allowing them to keep their customs, but triggers a reactionary backlash rebellion with his former enemies now his allies. He even has to deal with a bastard in the form of Ramsay.

@Scarlett_xoo @virginrosess He is done with her as a lover, but still fighting for his house's cause as he intends to return to King's Landing and aid Tommen in ruling. I think he would accept the Handship when the situation is gone to hell, they need good leadership and he needs to keep Cersei in check.

grrm really leaned into the cersei and dany parallel by giving both of them questionable maester figures.

@cr0wgirlirl It's more interesting that he doesn't betray Jon if not simply out of a desire not to challenge the established hierarchy in line with his loyalist attitude during Robert's Rebellion. He was less enthusiastic about it than Marsh, but he proved to be more accepting of Jon as LC.

@virginrosess I forgot, they are also both going to have Lannister brothers as advisors and Hands. Cersei has Jaime and Dany has Tyrion with the latter pair getting closer while the former pair are drifting further apart.

@virginrosess I think their images contrast to their characters fitting the queens. Qyburn looks like a kindly grandfather when he's a Mengele-esque mad scientist while Marwyn looks like a brawler with a gruff manner, but he is good, being the only archmaester who opposes the Citadel's scheme.
