@JordanTrottier @JJ_McCullough And a general sense of optimism and humility. We could have dining table conversations across the political spectrum. We were not so divided under Harper. Today we are and humility is nonexistent.
English

@JJ_McCullough Try telling a zoomer that under the last Conservative Government, we had the highest standard of living in the G7, and our dollar was worth MORE than the USA dollar. They don't believe it. We were also the 5th happiest nation on earth. We are now the 25th. Things are so bad.
English

@JordanTrottier @JJ_McCullough Legit good times. Under Harper, my Dad started his own business. Under Trudeau, he had to close his business.

Here’s my issue.
If you were crossing the floor as an honest person, you’d layout your reasons, and act with humility that this is controversial, and try to get as much public support as possible and try to justify your decision.
What we’re seeing is a political class making jokes about it, making light of it, and not taking concerns for Canadians about this seriously. Even if you think it’s legitimate to cross the floor, surely, you cannot defend the poor decorum these individuals are showing.
Then, I see the people speculating as to why there’s so many, and some raising questions about incentives being offered, pressure being put on, and back room deals being made.
The public absolutely has a right, and perhaps a duty to speculate when our concerns are not being treated with respect and being answered candidly.
If the goal, is to achieve a majority government, which it obviously is, then they are doing so by trying to avoid going to the constituents to seek that mandate.
If 10 MPs are considering crossing, then we should just do an election.
I think this is indefensible at this stage.
As a First Nations Chief, I seek the mandate from my people, and for those who don’t like the decision our leadership makes, I seek to address their concerns.
I am not seeing that response from this government, and for that I am extremely disappointed and concerned.

WATCH MP Chris d'Entremont says he's unsure whether to describe himself as a "recovering Conservative" or someone who was a Liberal all along. The three-time Conservative MP is among several MPs to cross the floor in recent months.

@kinsellawarren "Journalism must be independent and not driven by political or ideological interests" is an interesting finding.
By this standard, 95% of Canadian news media fails.
Particularly the CBC.

@prepboywannabe @gfinockio @ComaFades @01CuriousGeorge @natnewswatch My favourite part was Glenn saying he paid 100 k+ in taxes last year as a Teacher. That would mean income of 280k+. Impossible on a teachers salary alone. So we know Glenn is a retard
English

@gfinockio @ComaFades @eyesoncanada @01CuriousGeorge @natnewswatch Having 5 within a single sitting and potentially up to 10 more based on the rumours is not within historical president. There hasn't been "3-4 in a sitting" since the 60's
English

@warriormortal @ScottInScarboro @CanadianPolling The spin by the PMO and the Ottawa media circus has no bounds and will never let a good crisis go to waste that they can’t manipulate to their benefit. We know this from Telfords time in the PMO.
English

@ScottInScarboro @CanadianPolling Canadians turfed him, because he was the Conservatives response to Trudeau's divisive rhetoric.
Liberals continued their smears regardless, Conservatives saw his response as weak.
So they decided to put up Poilievre to match Trudeau's rhetoric, instead.
English

The question I keep asking is, "Who would replace him"
The CPC base won't go more centrist to appeal to voters, and going further right will just keep them in the pits so
BoredCanadianPolling@cadwaveanalysis
To be honest, I don’t think Pierre Poilievre survives 2026 as CPC leader. That’s just my feeling idk.
English

@warriormortal @ScottInScarboro @CanadianPolling turfed him because of the Convoy. Why did the Convoy happen? Mistrust and missteps of government/public health. Trudeau could have mitigated it but he let it boil over. They used the crisis to attack the opposition and the cherry on top was they got the mob to push Erin out
English

@hutchings_ruth @Richard_here65 @cadwaveanalysis But it absolutely is with Liberals, the entire claim is that Canada is not worse off. Data shows we are. The truth has been politicized by the ruling party and their supporters. That includes you, retard.
English

@eyesoncanada @Richard_here65 @cadwaveanalysis No. I didn't say every possible statistic. I did say, the world is experiencing a higher cost of living. I'm not minimizing anything. This isn't a partisan issue.
English

@DaveWells157951 @MacLeodLisa She manufactured the consent herself. The media seems incurious that they all use just about the same PMO talk track that’s been handed to them…
English

@MacLeodLisa I am one of her constituents. We have been stabbed in the back by her immoral, unethical power grab. She's an attention whore. I wish the very worst for her in the future. She is not welcome in Sarnia Lambton.

Marilyn Gladu spoke to reporters just now and defended herself against claims she abandoned her constituents. “All I can say is that I’ve been listening to my constituents since last summer, and this is what my constituents are saying this is what they want" #cdnpoli
English

@hutchings_ruth @Richard_here65 @cadwaveanalysis So you are saying the US, other members of G7 all are worse off by every possible statistic? Thats not true at all. Your attempt at minimizing is a failure.
English

@eyesoncanada @Richard_here65 @cadwaveanalysis Many countries are experiencing a significantly higher cost of living. This isn't uniquely Liberal.
English

@Richard_here65 @cadwaveanalysis We sure have a lot of “room to improve” with the lost decade. Rule of law? That’s broken. The failure of the RCMP to investigate Trudeau for SNC is case in point. But you don’t care about responsible government, and neither do your “groups of people” apparently.
English

@eyesoncanada @cadwaveanalysis No govt employees. All private sector employees & Biz owners. Some own, some rent. All with full time career jobs. Sorry to disappoint, Canada has room to improve, but it is not broken.
English

@torontolife Sometimes, people change their views. Look at how normal Marjorie Taylor Green seems now!

@GTO479 @gfinockio @prepboywannabe @01CuriousGeorge @natnewswatch Liberals will tell you it’s all rosy here but the high paying workers are leaving Canada in troves. Who will pay for the teachers, social programs, military, healthcare? Economy can’t run on the public sector. In the remote world, capital and workers can move and we are.
English

@eyesoncanada @gfinockio @prepboywannabe @01CuriousGeorge @natnewswatch I know a few that have made the move.
We’ll be saying a lot more of it.
English

@AliAlexander18 @DayPrsnt @ChantalHbert @RobertFife “Affirm my perspective or get out” you are a beacon of humility and intelligence…
English

@eyesoncanada @DayPrsnt @ChantalHbert @RobertFife Not wasting my time on anyone this entrenched - good luck with that approach
English

@eyesoncanada @AbysmalHorizons @Harry__Faulkner Last guy from alberta will for sure take a strong riding in Vancouver. He doesn't even live in Alberta anymore oh the greed is too great. She will run again 💯
English

@Richard_here65 @cadwaveanalysis What’s the breakdown of private vs public sector? How many are renters? How many are working class? What income brackets? Sampling and confirmation bias no doubt. Try using that brain, if you can.
English

@eyesoncanada @cadwaveanalysis Totally wrong, but hey thanks for trying. The group are not boomers. The range in age as young as late 20's to early 50's. A cross section of all ages and career paths. And they are all firmly never PP.
English

@sarahadams @scoopercooper I thought we invested in “strong borders”?! Colour me shocked that the US border found them and not CBSA!
