I had a REALLY GOOD, 5 minute talk highlighting social media in retina (with shoutouts to YOU and ARF!) for VBS 2020, but then #Covid cancelled the in-person meeting, and my talk didn’t make the cut for the Zoom meetings. 🤷♂️

Interestingly they only had old people on the podium and the #AmericanRetinaForum was in full force talking smack on their live feed, soon after they put @RetinaPodcast and @TXRetinaSurgeon on their board

My only claim to fame is that I used to share a residency call bag @uiowaeye with @DGlaucomflecken. Love seeing all the great things he’s doing! Great guy, great doctor/surgeon, oh, and he’s pretty funny, too. 😂

@AdrienneJarocki Congrats! I distinctly remember seeing the optic nerve for the first time at the slit lamp. Truly amazing! Just wait until you see the REST of the retina with an indirect ophthalmoscope!
