มีคนไปแงะ code ของ Claude Code มาก็พบต้นตอปัญหาว่าทำไมมันกิน token เยอะผิดปกติ (ช่วยกันแกะเองเลย) เรื่องมันเริ่มจากการที่ Claude Code มันไป acquire Bun Runtime ที่เอามาใช้ execute CLI (command ที่ Claude Code ใช้ AI มาทำงานบนเครื่อง) เพื่อให้เร็วกว่าการใช้ node.js ที่ใช้เวลาหน่วง 50-100 ms แต่ bun จะใช้แค่ 10 ms ถ้าต้องให้ API มานั่งรอหลายๆคำสั่ง Claude LM จะพังไปเลย เพราะ AI มันต้องมานั่งรอแต่ละคำสั่งยาวแต่ละ session แบบนี้ กว่าจะทำงานจบแต่ละ request ของแต่ละคน ระบบไม่รอด และ Bun Runtime มันก็จะ support code ที่ generate ออกมาในภาษา Typescript ได้ ไม่ต้องมานั่งแปลงเป็น javascript ที่จะเวิ่นเว้อกว่า Bun มันเลยมี native layer ที่เขียนด้วย zig (คล้ายภาษา C) เพื่อให้ optimize performance ได้เต็มที่เพื่อความเร็ว ซึ่งในระหว่างการ request กันไปมากับทาง Claude API มันจะมี CCH (Channel Context Handle) เพื่อใช้ระบุกับทาง LM ว่ามาจาก channel ไหน และหาก CCH บังเอิญมีค่าเป็น 00000 ทาง Bun ตัวดีนี้ จะยัด attestation hash เข้าไปแทนข้อมูล HTTP request นั้นเพื่อ security แต่ผลที่ตามมาคือ มันทำให้ AI งง เนื่องจาก history ที่ใช้คุยมัน break ออก (จู่ๆเอาอะไรมาทับทำให้คุยไม่รู้เรื่อง แล้ว cache ก็เลยเละ) พอ history ที่ใช้คุยมัน break ตัว Claude LM เลยต้องไปดึง context ใหม่ทั้งดุ้น ในทุกครั้งมายัดเพื่อคุยใหม่ ซึ่งกรณีนี้จะฟลุ๊คเกิดขึ้นได้กับคนเขียน code ที่ดันไปมี คำว่า cch=00000 โผล่ขึ้นมา ผลคือ token drain นั่นคือคุยไม่รู้เรื่อง ดึง cache เก่ามายัดทั้งดุ้น เจอ cch=00000 กลับไปดึง cache ใหม่ แล้วก็วน loop จน token หมด 😆
