One of the simplest ways to find profitable nonfiction niches OR Books on Amazon is using generic search modifiers. Take a broad topic and pair it with words real readers type when searching. Examples: By audience: • beginners (For beginners) • seniors (For seniors) • women (For women) • teens (For teens) etc. By experience level: • step by step • complete guide • simplified By situation: • on a budget • after 50 • for weight loss By format: • workbook • planner • journal Example: Instead of “budgeting” Try: • budgeting for college students • budgeting for single moms • budgeting workbook If Amazon autocompletes it, people are searching for it. Then check: • review count • BSR • publisher type A simple method, yeah? Free extensions you can use are; KDP SCOUT PRODUCTOR FOR MERCH DS AMAZON SUGGESTION EXPANDER DS AMAZON QUICK VIEW

Before you pick a category, check how old the top books in it are. Go look at the first 5 books ranking there. If most of them were published 3, 4, or 5 years ago, move on. Those books have been sitting there a long time. They have thousands of reviews. A new book will struggle to push them out. But if you see books from the last 6 to 12 months ranking near the top? That's your green light. It means the category is still open. New books can still get in and compete. Here's what to check: 1. When was the #1 book published? 2. How many reviews does it have? 3. Are any newer books showing up near the top? 4. Can a book with fewer reviews still rank well there? 5. If a book with 150 reviews is beating a book with 1,500 reviews, that category still has room for you. Old categories aren't always bad. But fresh movement is always a good sign. £MB

You know something a lot of people overlook during book research? Some of the best categories are actually hidden. They don’t always appear when you’re selecting categories during publishing, but you can discover them by studying bestselling books in different niches. When you carefully check a successful book’s ranking and category paths, you’ll sometimes notice it’s ranking in subcategories you normally wouldn’t find easily. That’s where things get interesting because some of those categories have good traffic but far less competition. This is one reason competitor research is so important. You’re not just checking covers or titles, you’re studying the structure behind why the book is performing well. A lot of experienced publishers use this method to uncover opportunities most people miss: - Find a bestselling book - Check all the categories it ranks in - Study similar books around it - Identify recurring hidden niches - Compare competition vs demand Honestly, it’s a very smart way to do research, especially in categories like craft and hobbies, journals, self help, low-content books, and technical guides. It’s really good and lovely once you understand how it works. £MB

A Quick Kdp Hack Before you commit to any category, take a minute to look up the Best Seller Rank of the number one book sitting at the top of it. That rank tells you something important: how many people are actually buying books in that space right now. If the number one book can barely crack 200,000, the whole category is just weak. There aren't enough buyers showing up to make it worth your effort.

One of the most irritating things someone said to me was, “With all the money you claim you’re making, why don’t we see it on you? You should be driving the latest car and all that.” What I do with my royalties is my business, and it’s mine alone. The fact that you expect me to show everything I’ve achieved on X is unrealistic. I value my privacy, and I choose what I want to share. I don’t need your validation to believe in my results or those of my students. So please, keep that opinion to yourself. 🙂‍↔️🥰

SCAM ALERT ⚠️ People like @Chale_fx are the reasons others believe that course creators are scams and thieves. This guy is using the picture of my house to sell his mentorship claiming it as the house he built with his money😢😢. Why are you people like this?🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Must you defraud others?. You are a so-called forex trader and also a KDP guru, people even invite you to speak in their programs meanwhile you are a fraud. Claiming what doesn't belong to you and using it defraud others. Hand is coming for you soon. I won't say more than that.

I and @thedivinekele have been thinking about this for a while. We know what it’s like to be building something real but held back by one thing: a course you can’t afford, a tool just out of reach, a business that needs that extra push, or an AI plan that could change everything. So we’re doing something about it. Spark and Elevate Foundation is putting ₦500,000 on the table for young Nigerians already doing the work. Check out @SparkandElevate pinned tweet for more details. Deadline: May 9th. Let’s go 🔥

It is okay not to target only one publishing platform. $222 is not a small amount of money to receive and it is still above some civil servants' pay 💰. Another one will drop on the 5th and 29th. God bless writers.
