Dear @BKBankRwanda, I'm deeply disappointed by the poor interoperability of BK Visa cards. During my trip to Benin and Togo, my card was declined at ATMs operated by Ecobank, SUNU Bank, BIDC, IB Bank, Bank of Africa, NSIA Bank, Coris Bank, and BSIC Bank. What was even more frustrating was seeing other Visa cards at least being recognized by the ATMs, while my BK Visa card wasn't even accepted by the machines. The only ATM that worked was Société Générale in Benin, where I had to pay a staggering 5,000 CFA (about RWF 13,500) for every withdrawal. In Togo, my card didn't work anywhere. Imagine being in a foreign country and being unable to access your own money when you need it most. It's stressful, embarrassing, and leaves customers feeling stranded. As a leading Rwandan bank, BK should ensure its Visa cards work reliably across borders and help customers avoid excessive withdrawal fees. I sincerely hope this issue will be investigated and resolved so that no one else has to go through the same experience. @dkarusisi
