@chuchu_hedera @jonathanstea There are also hundreds of flu strains, but only 3-6 can be put in a vaccine. The ones that are chosen are the ones that are most prevalent.
English

@chuchu_hedera @jonathanstea It spreads in areas where large numbers of unvaccinated people frequent, like supermarkets.
Vaccinations, like condoms, are foolproof. Being vaccinated doesn't stop you carrying a virus, it stops you getting symptomatic and greatly reduces the chances of it being passed on.
English

@chuchu_hedera @jonathanstea Flu vaccine uptake is 70-80% annually in the UK, and most people who catch flu isolate when they get symptoms, which is after a relatively short incubation period. So you have any examples other than flu?
Every question I ask is relevant to the previous ones and your answers.
English

@f1dec @jonathanstea Okay. Again. Do you have some sort of point or are you just giving me a pop quiz?
"which is very rare" - this is wrong btw. Every flu season on earth proves this wrong. We never see the same strain twice.
English

@chuchu_hedera @jonathanstea Correct.
If natural heard immunity is achieved, which is very rare, it means several people have died or are living with disfigurement.
English

@f1dec @jonathanstea So depending on the disease, between 50 and 95% of a population need to be infected with an active or inactive strain in a similar time period, accounting for lags and decays, to acheive enough antibodies that the reset are effectively isolated from each other.
English

@chuchu_hedera @jonathanstea That was a question. Would you care to explain how her immunity is achieved?
English

@sebleclando1645 @ln4win That women with big boobs would be physically uncomfortable in an F1 car, and that they'd cause a distraction to the mechanics.
English

@jachu1999 @cytrusf1 Most modern cars have anti-stall, which is why your car can still move off in 3rd gear. The ECU engages the clutch regardless of the pressure you apply to it.
English

@f1dec @cytrusf1 I don't think it's an anti-stall system. You just riding your clutch until wheel speed reaches your engine revs (even if it's 900rpm in 3rd gear) if you do it gently (if no you'll probably stalls or kangaroos). F1 anti-stall engage the cluth if engine revs drops below certain lvl
English

@f1dec @jonathanstea Can't remember off hand and got bored searching after 10min
English

@f1dec @jonathanstea Something that was eradicated? in 1972 has no bearing on my life nor my healthcare decisions. None.
English

@USBornNRaised @jonathanstea 1978 was the last incidence of smallpox, and that was as a result of a lab accident.
1977 was the last naturally occurring case of smallpox.
Yes, we're coming up of half a century since the eradication of one of the most deadly diseases known to man.
English

@f1dec @jonathanstea All I know is fear is a hell of a drug. It made sane people inject themselves with multiple rounds of an experimental drug for a virus with a 99% survival rate- for those under 65.
English

@USBornNRaised @jonathanstea How long has it been since the last smallpox case?
English

@f1dec @jonathanstea I am not sure I believe much of what we have been told at this point to be honest. Cowpox, England, Milkmaids.
English

@robinibiza If it’s a penalty should it not be a red card? A ‘50/50’ tackle ending with a broken leg would always be a red card. Just saying
English

Ouch… and wow that’s a horrendous clash of head for debut of Jesse Derry #chelsea #clash #premierleague #chelsForest #
English

@USBornNRaised @jonathanstea Do you think the Smallpox Eradication Program was effective?
English

@f1dec @jonathanstea Mixed feeling. 30% of Americans are older than 54 and either were not vaccinated for this or immunity has worn off.
English

@jonathanstea It's within the realm of scientific possibility that vaccines cause autism.
English

@jonathanstea Only 1 vaccine in history was introduced before the herd immunity phase
But keep up the ad hominim, you're doing great
English

@jonathanstea I am not anti-vaccine. I am anti being experimented on.
English

@garibaldibard Terry Butcher wore it well too.
Split his head open half an hour in, played the full 90.

English

Nought wrong with MGW, he saw Tuchel in the crowd and was looking to replicate the ultimate bit of English aura. #NFFC

Why does this guy become world class when he sniffs a relegation battle 🤣 #nffc
