IRAN has published the names of several of the 50 Delta Force soldiers they claim to have captured during the rescue operation to extract the US airman whose plane was shot down over Iran. They are: Sgt. Michael Anderson age 34 Staff Sgt. David Miller age 31 Sgt. Daniel Roberts age 29 Sgt. James Walker age 33 Cpl. Ryan Mitchel age 28 Sgt. Christopher Evans age 35 Staff Sgt. Kevin Scott age 30 Sgt. Brian Taylor age 32 CENTCOM denies that any US troops were captured by the Iranians and the claim cannot be verified by independent sources. If verified, then the "Rescue Mission" was not the "glorious success" that is claimed by the US, but an even greater fiasco than the "rescue mission" attempted in the Iranian desert back in 1980. ~Emilios Georgiadis @DDGSarah

Lot of weird hyperbolic energy about this policy. I simply don’t think there’s some mass movement to do this. Your average soldier cares about their dfac, barracks, what they’re doing at PT tmrw, and if the staff duty roster has them on the weekend. Not concealed carrying.
MEDPROS Center of Excellence@Asst_to_the_RM

For the larger audience Before you can be outraged about someone following or not following guidance, you must understand it. Like an LT trying to quote AR 623-3 to a SGM. you don’t get to only look at the parts you like. You must understand & apply the whole thing.

The conveyer is meant to cancel forward motion of a car, matching the speed of the wheels. The faster the wheels spin, the faster the conveyer so the car is motionless. In this case the forward motion is generated by engine thrust, not the speed of the wheels. So the conveyer will not cancel out the planes toward motion.

In a now deleted post on the Pentagon’s Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS), a Sailor working on an EA-18G “Growler” Electronic Warfare Aircraft assigned to “The Gray Wolves” of Electromagnetic Attack Squadron 142 (VAQ-142), deployed onboard the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78), can be seen wearing a morale patch which says: Join the U.S. Navy Save the Big Booty Venezuelans!

I've received reports of these new “speed cameras” popping up across Maryland. Like Flock, they’re privately owned. Unlike Flock, these likely contain *pounds of copper*… which I'd never suggest anyone take advantage of. Neighbors might not mind, though.

@spikesguides I suspect taxes are going to be due to pay for replacements. The pilot could have been taken PoW and returned after the war. Better yet, the illegal war could have never been started.

Please stop believing foreign propaganda (as well as domestic). We scuttle aircraft we can't bring back so that way Amir doesn't take a computer to the bazaar to sell to Chang who takes it to Beijing to give it to Xi. There's an insane amount of information and cognitive warfare going on. Iran and the US specialize in it in their own ways. The Iranians are doing it to you as much as the US gov is.

@ArmchairAdml This is so painfully hilarious to watch, as if they were even sent to rescue these men. Two C310’s? For two men? It was clearly a special operations landing and they got obliterated. You know how much the US really cares? Their deaths will be dripped out into the press as

A few C-130s can be re-built in a year, it's an active production line. But, If the men and women joining the Air Force don't have the confidence that in the event they are shot down their country would come and rescue them, you wouldn't have many people joining the military. The events of the last 72 hours have given those pilots, and possibly soon to be ground troops, confidence that their country won't leave them behind if they find themselves in a spot of bother.

Pop quiz: How long does it take to train a WSO? Now… how long does it take to replace 3 aircraft. Do. The. Math.

@pookiepradhan @ArmchairAdml No, the pilots in these squadrons plan and execute this of their own violation. You don’t understand the decentralization of our military; the amount of individual decision making down to the NCO or even junior enlisted level.

I’m noticing a lot of foreigners who seem to not understand why we’d risk hundreds of lives, spend millions of dollars, and sacrifice several aircraft to rescue one guy. And the reason they don’t understand is also the reason people can’t be made American by a piece of paper.

🚨 BREAKING: The most expensive spacecraft ever built.. $93 billion to get us back to the moon.. is being rotated toward the sun because the $30 million toilet vent froze and filled the capsule with the smell of frozen piss.. it’s 2026.. astronauts are peeing into backup bags because the high-tech plumbing on our return-to-the-moon mission needs sunlight to thaw.. apollo guys did this in 1969 with duct tape and a prayer.. we came back half a century later with a $30 million toilet that still can’t beat zero degrees.. they built an entire launch system over seven years.. spent more than the GDP of 100 countries.. and the mission is being run like a student housing maintenance request.. “can you turn the heat up.. the bathroom is frozen again.” nasa is fighting physics.. it’s also fighting a procurement machine that charges taxpayers $93 billion to deliver the same bathroom the apollo boys had when richard nixon was president.. this is the most expensive smell in human history.
Polymarket@Polymarket

JUST IN: The Artemis II toilet’s vent froze over, potentially causing the terrible smell astronauts reported. NASA is tilting the space ship toward the Sun to try & thaw it out.
