🚨 BREAKING: Elon Musk’s offer to pay TSA salaries has been DECLINED by the White House, per CBS
President Trump signaled his excitement over @ElonMusk’s offer, and was moving forward with trying to make it happen.
But federal laws severely limit private citizens’ abilities to pay US government employees, and this is likely a reason Elon’s offer has been declined.
While private citizens are free to donate as much as they want to the Treasury, the Constitution requires Congress to appropriate the funds prior to disbursement from the Treasury.
Which they obviously haven’t done.

Republicans are lying to the American people when they say the SAVE Act is a voter ID law—it’s a proof-of-citizenship requirement that would make voting harder, if not impossible, for a lot of people. Passports are expensive, documents don’t always match, and the process can be a mess (been there). We should be making voting easier, not adding more hurdles. Democrats can own this by proposing their own bill that accepts a range of IDs, and includes automatic voter registration and Election Day as a national holiday for starters.

The guy who started the made up ‘Trump has a speech about aliens planned’ rumor now alleges some misinformation conspiracy where he was used as a tool, but doesn’t want to say who it is because he fears for his safety but hints at it anyway.
He is currently on a podcast tour talking about it all, and uses the words “my source” 12 millions times, all while plugging his appearances, on X, within days of announcing on X he would be leaving X. But, plugs his Instagram on his faux-exit.
This stuff gets sillier and sillier. But it hurts this topic, and more people should speak out about it, and people like the below.
