Instead of focusing on the mechanics, let’s talk about an effective plan to be a tough out!! ✅ **Don’t Roll Over off-speed pitches** ✅ **Don’t pull the fastball** When you’re down to two strikes, these adjustments force you to stay disciplined. Here’s why this helps: 1. **Better Plate Coverage**: By not trying to pull every pitch, you cover more of the plate and can handle outside pitches more effectively. 2. **Don’t be Greedy**: Focusing on hitting the ball where it’s pitched keeps you calm and less likely to chase bad pitches. 3. **More Consistent Contact**: Avoiding rollovers and pull-happy swings leads to more solid contact, which increases your chances of putting the ball in play. Remember, with two strikes, the goal is to protect the plate and make solid contact. Adopting this mindset helps you battle through tough at-bats and become a tougher out.
