Men seem to have this idea that inside all women’s bodies, and I mean like connected as though aspen trees are, they all decide to poison the womb on your 35th birthday. Before birth control, it was standard for a woman to have children until she reached menopause. 80% of women were still healthy fertile at age 38. The problem back before antibiotics and modern hospitals were invented was the pregnancy posing risks itself, most to all of which has been quelled by the fact doctors do not currently shove their hands inside you without washing them now! So, at 27, I’ll be okay. I can have up to 7 kids in that time if I pace them SAFELY, 10 without biological delays. Read a book, stop letting twitter give you your health lessons.

There is no way an obgyn told you that she only has until 35 for a healthy pregnancy. Because that’s not medicine, that’s your algorithm. She didn’t have to take those tests, she opted for them. And….i would guess that she was fine at 35. The tests don’t mean she’s rare for being normal, she’s still very comfortably pregnant, in the vast majority. If she was 41, those tests would be more telling.

@faetheeewell I’m just relaying what my wife’s female OBGYN told me when she was 34 with our 2nd. I figure OBGYN knows what she is talking about. She had to take all kinds of extra tests for chromosome abnormalities due to her already being 34.
