Infinity is smaller than 380012893427665492. I don't listen to *just* Daft Punk.

Again, objectively, this virus is not that bad folks. "Yeah, because SOCIAL DISTANCING!" Well, that still has to be demonstrated. I don't think social species are good at social distancing. They cheat and generally don't accomplish it. worldometers.info/coronavirus/

@TonyWuGZ @Pwuts1337 Have you considered that the interior and seats may actually be good? Elon said that they are the best and most comfortable seats he ever sat in. Why don't you believe him? Do you think he didn't sit in expensive cars?

@olllybr I'm not particularly skilled with HTTP, but I know that others have done this. You just need to somehow get an `io.Reader` from HTTP and then you're good to go.

@gnome Hi, I'm a long time GNOME user and I've found the best experience on Fedora, which I'm using for several years now. So here are the answers: 1. Fedora 2. Intel HD 4000

Two questions for our community: 1) Which OS/distribution are you currently using? (Now's your chance Arch users!) 2) What graphics card/drivers does your system currently have?

I've looked around and haven't found any online catalog or a ZOO of cellular automata. You know, just a site where you can browse different cellular automata and check them out from different starting positions. I might try and make something like that.

@_math2001 Hi! Good question :D But there's nothing special about that number. The meaning is just that a program that counts to infinity will be smaller than a program that counts to a big, specific number like that. Generality is simple and small.

@faiface Hey, this may seem like a dumb question, but what's special about 380012893427665492? 🤔

@badlogicgames Well, as far as I tried, debugging in VSCode works fairly well.

Imso wished there was a small typed language not much more complex than structured Basic as a self contained binary with VS Code editing and debugging support. Everything I find requires a ton of crap like NPM/Node or has shoddy tooling. Sad.

Here's how you debug: 1. Run the program 2. See it doesn't work 3. Look at the code 4. Fix the bug 5. Don't repeat Done.

Why Falcon Heavy & Starman? Life cannot just be about solving one sad problem after another. There need to be things that inspire you, that make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity. That is why we did it. We did for you. m.youtube.com/watch?feature=…

Best illusion I've seen, maybe ever. The blue and black lines are NOT moving. Insanely good.

@hajimehoshi Well it does, because in the first case it is interface{}(nil) and in the second case it's (*Foo)(nil), which are two different values (both in the variables and on the right side of the comparison operator).

@MaryWild I'm not a particular expert, I just teach some kids programming as an extra-curricular activity, but what I'd do is to get them out of their "natural habitat". Do some group activity that encourages competitiveness among them. That could do it.
