@almeksikiya I think they’re fine but it depends on how it’s done and the setting. This one was planned right after the holidays so it was borderline imitating disbelievers type of vibe

@faintlimits I like doing gift exchanges then I only have to buy for one person instead of like 10 so we them a better quality item they’ll actually keep instead of something cheap for more people

I got invited to do an Eid basket gift exchange thing and I declined bc it was lowkey giving secret Santa and just… idk.. felt weird.

@hydaspian I think this one was specifically doing an exchange in the same way they do secret Santas: putting names in a basket and being paired with someone. The gifts weren’t really “Eid” themed or like specific to our culture or religion. Just felt wrong
