And they still aren’t genetically close 90% of Iranian ethnic groups don’t cluster close to South Asia at all, mostly caucuses

Iranians only tend to be lighter-skinned than north Indians on average because they don't have a discernable AASI genetic component and they have somewhat more Yamnaya-Sintashta DNA.
