12 years of marriage ended because of an iPad, an 8-year-old forgot to turn off. Technology is the modern-day private eye. This lady on tik tok said her husband told her he was on a "high-stakes" business trip in Chicago. But her 8 year old iPad was still synced to his "Find My" network. At 11:20PM, his location pinged 12 minutes from their house to the home of their former maid of honor.

@ladycarpenter01 @Sugar_Pops_ Who are the ones doing the judging? All of us. Last time I checked women make up about 50% of human population. If we all judge men and women the same way, 50% of the the nonsense double standard will be fixed.

It’s sad that you think so. It’s like saying a drunkard is better than your mum that birthed you because your mum is also a girl child. Your uncle’s wife married a man who doesn’t value her. We are Mutuals and you’re entitled to your opinion but I find this distasteful.
Free Donnymil📊@freedonnymil

@sweeteststew @talk2veee A drunkard man is better than female child when it's time for official matters. Female child are good. But I'll prefer male children instead of female at all times. And Infact, my uncles wife is currently not happy in her marriage coz of this lack of male child.

@talk2veee Anyhow you wish to understand that male child is superior to a female child is fine. But in all essence let male child or children come first before any other gender. Tony Elumelu is a perfect yardstick for this controversial topic. Let's learn of him.

There is equal partnership in marriage hence I will not “dead that idea”. How insecure must a man be that he needs the illusion of lording over another for him to feel like a man? I do not subscribe to the idea of “this is the way thing are”, I question customs and traditions, I constantly checkmate my thoughts and opinions as that is the only part to growth for the stagnant man is a dead man. You claim the idea of equal partnership is a western culture yet there are a lot of western ideas that has been adopted into our society over the years which you actually practice. Is it really about the idea being a western culture or you just like cherry-picking the aspect of western culture that favors you while discarding that which threatens the unfair advantage you have in the African culture? The bride price you talk about was actually borne out of the greed of the African man, so how do you dangle that like it’s a winning point? It is actually a reminder that men introduced the culture of exchanging their daughters for food items. I am glad feminists are now kicking against the idea of bride price and I know one day, we will do away with it. Talking about young feminists not getting married, I will like to remind you that not all women are interested in getting married, marriage is not the ultimate goal of every woman. For those who want to get married, I remember I was told the same thing. “If you don’t drop these ideas, nobody will marry you, you won’t last long in marriage”. Funny how I keep celebrating my marriage anniversary year after year with three beautiful kids. Dear women, you don’t have to switch off your brain so a man can lead before you can get married, if marriage is something you really want, you will find your person. They like to tell you how no man will accommodate your ideas, it’s a complete lie , you will always find that person who share your beliefs and dreams. Settling for less will only make you a frustrated married woman.
Unpopular Opinion@Andy_Dgr8

There is no such thing as equal partnership in marriage. Dead that idea. The man must see himself as the head of the home or at least have the illusion of it. This is the way things work in this part of the world. That belief is a western culture. As long as a man still gets to pay for bride price and spend so much money just to marry y’all. The society will continue to see them as the head of the family. If you have been preaching this to young ladies, I pity them because they will not be married by any man and if they as little as get married, they won’t last in that union.

Some husbands will pick a call from their mother and hear: "I am coming to stay in your house tomorrow." Instead of discussing it with their wife, they simply reply: "Okay mummy, come." Then they come home in the evening and announce it like a court judgment: "My mother is coming tomorrow." Sir, slow down. Marriage means the house now belongs to both husband and wife, not the husband alone. It is not about your wife giving your parents permission to visit you. No. They are your parents and they are welcome. But it is about respect and communication. A simple conversation like: "My mother wants to visit us tomorrow. Are you comfortable with it?" That small sentence can save many future quarrels. Because your wife may have plans. She may have guests. She may not even be around. And suddenly people are arriving to stay in a house she is managing. Respect in marriage is not only about money, love, or sêx. It is also about consultation. The day a husband starts treating his wife like a stakeholder in the home, peace will increase. And wives too should understand, Your husband's parents are not strangers. They are family. Marriage works better when there is mutual respect, not surprise announcements.Copied!

I've been happily married for 20 years. I'm 43 and my husband is 45. We're blessed with two boys but no girls. My husband has always been great to us and I've been lucky enough not to need to work since he takes care of everything. But lately, he's been acting off. He's distant, seems to have a lot on his mind and somethings clearly upsetting him. We don't go out as often as we used to, he's not as loving and he's been having trouble sleeping. I've even seen him walking around the house late at night. A week ago, I finally confronted him and asked what was bothering him. He went pale and started shaking looking really scared.

I remember the first day I met my co wife (my husband's 1st wife) She hugged me, greeted me cheerfully and immediately I fell In love with her personality... A very generous woman and a cheerful giver, very selfless to let me share her husband. Not only that, She shared so many things about our husband with me because he is a man that used to say he is not begging for love... Since then I started calling her Aunty mi and I started going to the house to help her wash clothes, get familiar with the children and do other house chores . She came to me and her husband’s wedding as well, sprayed me huge money and we have been living happily ever after. 🥰 #Nafisah facebook.com/share/p/1FwUD5…
