The volume of queries and submissions has certainly gone up, but that doesn't necessarily mean the quality has gone up. I see so many fantastic concepts with writing that is a bit underbaked still.

@mkallen7 Sure, I get that! It’s a tough industry but just be warned that it can bite you in the behind when you’re publically showing a lot of fulls but no offers. 😬 imo these things are better kept to group chats.

@fairiegnostic That’s great, but there’s a reason the Writing Community does Full (or Partial) Request Fridays. It’s so we can celebrate our wins when they come. I’m not posting who, but when I get a win that I can celebrate with my digital community, I’m going to do that.

My cancellable opinion is that a lot of tactless behaviour is going on in the writing community wrt querying/sub based on the excuse of 'transparency.' Stats are great, but we don't need to know about every full request, agent like or reject. This is a business--act like it.🤷‍♀️
