@phunny14 You’re arguing against a point I never made. I wasn’t saying “women should wait until 40 to have kids.” I was discussing that fewer teenagers becoming parents (and the number of adult mothers overtaking it statistically) is a good thing. Those aren’t mutually exclusive.

@RynQuestionMark I don’t think you quite understand what I meant. Teen birth rates have been steadily dropping, but there’s also been about a 20% increase in women over 40 being pregnant. Adult women being forced to have riskier pregnancies due to financial instability isn’t a good thing.

@RynQuestionMark Not necessarily. This has been fueled by a huge increase in births over the age of 40 likely due to economic pressures causing women to start families later. Pregnancy gets significantly more dangerous as you age especially past the age of 40.
