Arknights leakers ordered to pay $190,000 USD in damages Hypergryph just won a major civil case — one group of leakers must pay 1.3 million yuan (~$190k USD) and issue a public apology. Hypergryph the studio behind Arknights has won a court case in China against two people who leaked unreleased content. The court ordered them to jointly pay the company 1.3 million RMB equivalent to approximately 30 million yen or 190000 US dollars in damages. The leaked material consisted of key character standing illustrations planned for the Arknights 2025 Summer Carnival event. One of the individuals was an employee at a partner company who violated a confidentiality agreement, the other person distributed the images on social media. Both have also been required to issue a public apology. They also have a rewards program for players who report reliable leak tips.

Arknights Endfield 1.2 complete! I am nigh speechless. That was far and away the best open-world gacha patch I have played across the entire subgenre, and in terms of gacha as a whole I think Process IV-VI put Endfield up on the same pedestal for me. This patch for me rivaled some of the best moments of the OG Arknights, Limbus, Nikke, and blew away the rest of the gacha's I have played. I am VERY impressed with how HG managed to not only make Ardashir feel like a real villain, but the way that they navigating revealing information and allowing the player to glean further theories about him WITHOUT taking away his agency as this mysterious antagonist with motives that we can't see the full picture of. The way that they fulfilled Nefariths role as this unstable, hateful apex threat, showing that even what we can only assume are the lowest rungs of Ardashirs forces are at the level of taking EVERYTHING we have to confront, WITHOUT removing the expectation of the Endministrators powers putting them on a consistently strong level. We also get to see the continuing development of the Endmin and their allies, in their dealings with TangTang, Mifu, Lifeng, and Fangyi, and how even with Ardashir trying to get inside their head and twist their understanding of past and present they stick to their beliefs and their ideals and dont allow themselves to be swayed from their morals. They also allow Endmin a chance to feel a sort of redemption from the Ardashir fight in how they resolve the Fangyi situation, and we see the lingering fear of abandonment in the Endmin that hasn't quite been resolved yet. Looking forward to the companion sidequests of 1.2 and then onwards to 1.3!
