A weekend in Manchester, with friends, amongst good people enjoying a parade of quality events... If you like that kind of thing, our pals Louder Than Words Festival have you covered. It's the premier festival for music and literature. It's happening this November.

You wait 50 years for a Fall festival, then two come along at once. Una Baines and Paula Greenwood are putting on a festival to pay homage to the women of The Fall. The Fallen Women Festival takes place in Manchester in September. Ticket link here: events.humanitix.com/50-years-of-fa…

The volunteers are veterans of @Lthanwordsfest and are led by the praise-averse yet eminently praise-worthy Em Carroll. They calmly and efficiently run the show. Big thanks to all of them.

Hiya Jackie, Hello Simon. So pleased for these two that the walking tour was such an almighty success. They put a lot of unseen hours in prepping for it. And also pleased that Si is looking at doing a walking tour on a regular basis. There's no one better for it.
