This weekend I found myself completely lost in vibecoding what I've always wanted to build: A Diablo-like, 2.5D isometric fantasy dungeon crawler (I am not known for my originality) I used @cursor_ai as the IDE and alternated between @grok and Claude Sonnet to build out the code and debug whenever either got stuck. I have zero coding knowledge and this was candidly quite daunting before I started, but when I did start I found the hours whizzing past. I also found myself really enjoying the experience, which is nice. It felt like finding a new hobby. I highly recommend people give this a whirl. The possibilities are limitless and the future is very very bright. All you need is curiosity, willpower, and patience!

I don't care if people call it AI slop. Vibe coding games is fun. It's become my main hobby now, and no one can take that away from me.

@illyquid are you not worried that the smaller peripheral players hiking prices usually portend deep late-cycle behaviour already saw Gartner predicting prices killing consumer demand, now suppliers in general piling in capacity clock ticking

PSA: this is a prosumer research tool with powerful web crawling capabilities which means it’s great for fundamental, qualitative research but it is by no means going up against BBG terminal (quantitative, tick by tick data, opaque fixed income markets) apples and oranges..

Perplexity just became the the first Al company to truly go head-to-head with the Bloomberg Terminal... Using Perplexity Computer (with no local setup or single LLM limitation), it was able to build me a terminal with real-time data to analyze $NVDA using Perplexity Finance:

It amazes me how so many AI tutorials assume prior coding knowledge/experience and jump through steps that would totally baffle beginners. It takes something special to have both technical depth & the ability to stand in beginners’ shoes and explain things from their perspective

Meet @ekko_engine! This isn’t an AI that follows orders. This is an AI that makes calls. EKKO turns intel into decisions, weighs risk vs reward, and knows when it’s time to extract — even when you don’t. In Party Icons, EKKO can be your Marauder, your Teammate, or your Assistant. Personality defines how it plays today, and what it can become tomorrow. When EKKO takes on a life of its own, play evolves — and your game levels up.

video games sell cosmetics agent generated worlds sell agency the age of infinite passive content will destabilise the attention economy, and manipulating outcomes through agents represents one of the various ways the current and future generatations will be entertained this is the beginning of the return of the metaverse, you just don’t know it yet

@hosseeb fun fact for you, this is a phenomenon in Adlerian psychology called compensatory striving where outlier success is often downstream of a compensatory mechanism to overcome feelings of inadequacy (what your friend said stuck with you for a long time)

When I quit my tech job and considered becoming a founder in 2017, someone close to me told me: "I don't think you have what it takes to build something of your own." "What? Why not?" "I don't think you'll grind hard enough. You're a smart guy. But you're just not that hungry." That stuck with me. For a decade. Whenever things weren't going well, I wondered--do I not grind hard enough? Do I not want it enough? It's only in the last few years that I've come to realize: that guy was full of shit. Anyone who knows me now knows I'm a grinder. But in a weird way, he did me a favor. I became hell-bent on proving him wrong. The truth is, deep down, I'm lazy. I procrastinate, I'm avoidant, and I lack the drive to do things just for myself. But the most powerful forcing function is having responsibility. Before I started leading Dragonfly, I had a lot of time to navel-gaze and worry about how hard I was working. Now I can't. The weight is on my shoulders. I have no choice but to show up and do the work. The capacity was always there, I just didn't know it because before running Dragonfly, I'd never had this level of pressure on me. Being responsible for something brings it out of you. I wish someone had told me that 10 years ago. So I'm telling you now: if you're wondering whether you have what it takes, stop wondering. Get the weight on your shoulders. You might surprise yourself.

if you are watching @moltbook unfold and observing the sheer virality and entertainment value of of emergent, probabilistic agent-generated realities, you should be building the next generation of interactive entertainment startups and if you are you should reach out to me

Hypergambling as a path to wealth always seemed like a pretty dumb meme but is particularly ill-timed in 2026 The opportunity cost of doing anything other than building this year seems massive

think we’re talking across each other chart is showing the commoditization of development of *all* apps (not just content apps), through the commoditization of coding your latest point is on the commoditization of distribution but that is a different point from the commoditization of product, which btw is an interesting point because if everyone can launch perfectly hyper-optimized ads then it becomes a perfect competition market, which means CPM goes up not down.. then the only way CAC comes down is with organic distribution/ network effect. Too many variables for a X discussion tho

I guess depends on the context? For example, all the video ads of our consumer products now are generated by AI (workflows automated) and we churn out hundreds of these per day fed into Meta and Tiktok which auto optimizes targeting. The more content u feed the AI, the lower your cac becomes … But if content is the product itself, yes IP definitely is king.

@JuanRezzio @cursor_ai excited to see the image gen tools. I built this on cursor half a year ago, took me 4-5 days, included lots of time finding the right art assets, figuring out how to create spritesheets, organising them in the right orientation etc. amazing to see the rate of change of progress

Im not a Game Designer. Im not a Game Developer. And I built this entire 2D game just using @cursor_ai Agents in just a few hours. All sprites (character animation/ props/ backgrounds etc) were done with Opus-4.5 + our image gen tool (early access). My cursor stack: Agent + Image gen + Browser + Debug Mode + Skills Will be sharing skills used soon for anyone interested. Stay tuned!
