@rocketresearchx @samcryptohobbit Why not use a 30 day volume weighted average price for each coin? That way the market is deciding but you minimize the ability for anyone to massively game the ratio in the minutes / hours / days before the ratio is decided.

@samcryptohobbit Something along those lines are fine. But what’s to stop wallets from bidding up dcar now to tilt the ratio towards dcar holders. There needs to be element of certainty and fairness . That’s mainly our point. Past data is not open to manipulation.

A few points: 1. There needs to be more clarity on token split for $Dcau and $dcar holders and not based on existing market cap since they were marketed as inseparable from the start. 2. If token distribution of the new merged coin is only based on market cap of Dcau and dcar it’ll be prone to manipulations. 3. We have detected for example $Dcar started to pump after the “merge” announcement. In the absence of a token, it's going to be hard to get people involved when Optimism, Arbitrum and alt-L1s exist. And the last time Coinbase tried to onboard their "110M+ verified users", the Coinbase NFT happened. We all know how that went.

Remember when basically every Tier 2 CEX launched their own alt-L1 "smart chain"? Huboi's ECO Chain (HECO). OKEx's OKExChain. KuKoin's Community Chain. Crypto(dot)com's Cronos chain. Gate(dot)io's GateChain.

GMX has very solid tokenomics in terms of fee redistribution but the protocol itself has tail risks using the GLP model. dYdX has solid UX using a CLOB model but the tokenomics are questionable at best. Any interesting projects out there that can combine the two?
