@farndoncc You’d do well to inform us earlier so we don’t waste time preparing wickets. Then have to let our kids down who have no cricket this weekend.

Thanks @farndoncc for cancelling the game at such short notice and letting down not only your but our juniors at short notice. You’ve got the players get the game on. You want a dbs skipper I’ll do it for you?

@christallng24 You would do well to focus on the fact that despite the national scene for grassroots cricket, two local clubs are close to getting 3 + 4 XIs out on a Saturday. This is good news for cricket as a whole, and although its not worked out this time, I'm sure we will have a game soon.

@christallng24 More factors than involved in the reason for cancellation of course. The main purpose of the bit at the end is to motivate people to get more involved who are suitable to play at that level but don't feel confident to do it.
