With 2 weeks left before CAB3 is introduced for its first reading in Parliament, I urge all peace-loving Zimbabweans to maintain peace and harmony until the process is finalised. As Leader of Opposition in Parliament, I unequivocally wish to see the bill become law in Zimbabwe.

@KMutisi @MthuliNcube01 So is white supremacy, but real leaders are servants of the people, and they don't even think twice to represent the needs of their people. If you're to honestly pinpoint to that then that's the very reason why We shouldn't let MPs vote on our behalf

Political choices have CONSEQUENCES… Cabinet made a decision to approve CAB3, but some Cabinet Members have been sitting on the fence or opposing CAB3 through proxies & innuendo. We saw Prof @MthuliNcube01 publicly promoting the Bill & making it clear he supports it. And so did several Ministers… President @edmnangagwa shouldn’t hesitate to reshuffle his team so that he works with people who are willing to work with him… It’s time to work towards Vision 2030, those angling for power should removed from govt so that they can focus on their personal ambitions. Those who don’t know who their principal is should be removed so that they can serve their preferred principal. No one should just benefit from what they aren’t willing to support… Without loyalty, there is no political alignment.

In Chinhoyi, Mash West, a troubling situation is emerging, some people are refusing to accept US dollars and are demanding that payments be made in ZiG or that change be given in ZiG, which they now regard as the only effective currency for transactions. This marks a significant and concerning shift. @ReserveBankZIM @ZANUPF_Official @TanakaaGumbo @KandishayaTaura @DeptCommsZW @edmnangagwa @ShaneGore23 @shumbakadzi_zim @The_Tonga_Queen @GrainfulTrust @siazyaba @SokoCindy

ANY MINISTER WHO IS OPPOSED TO #CA3 AND IS NOT PUBLICLY SUPPORTING IT SHOULD RESIGN WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT!!!!! Our Attorney General Virginia Mabhiza has made a strong warning to Cabinet Ministers who may be opposed to government policies. Zimbabwe’s Constitution makes it clear that Cabinet operates under the principle of collective responsibility, meaning all members of the Executive must stand behind decisions made by Government. "Once Cabinet adopts a policy, every Cabinet member must publicly support and defend it," she warned. "Anyone who disagrees with Government policy should resign," the AG added. Some of our Cabinet ministers are yet to publicly make statements and declarations supporting Cabinet adopted policies such as #CA3. I HOPE THEY MAKE A GOOD CALL VERY SOON!

I think I explained in the article that my source was not in the four-hour meeting that took place involving Presidents Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe and Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, along with Wicknell Chivayo and Kudakwashe Tagwirei. What I reported is what President Ramaphosa said while they were moving around the farm. That is what my source was able to capture, and that is what I reported. The problem with many of us is that we get angry when facts are put before us that do not align with our thinking or our desires. It is not my job to manufacture or suppress information. My job as a journalist is to report what happened. I was the first journalist to report that President Cyril Ramaphosa was coming to Zimbabwe the day before. This meeting was meant to be secret, but I broke that story. I also reported what President Ramaphosa said while they were moving around the farm. Those are the facts. If what I reported is not true, President Ramaphosa or his information department can come out and say that this journalist is not telling the truth. I do not report things that are incorrect. I report what has been said. You must remember that while they were moving around, there were cameras and phones recording what was being said. It is not my job to come here and tell you who told me what. I tell you what was said. If what I say was said is not true, then the President of Zimbabwe or the President of South Africa can come out and say that Hopewell Chin’ono is not telling the truth. It is not my job to say things that people want to hear. It is my job to report what is factual. Clever people would read what I have said, which is factual, and then plan based on the truth and the facts that have been put on the table. That is what thoughtful people do, instead of getting angry simply because the truth has been reported.

President @edmnangagwa’s Pricabe Farm is arguably one of the MOST PRODUCTIVE & highly mechanised farm in Africa. He developed & commercialised this farm WAY BEFORE became President. Today, President @CyrilRamaphosa is visiting the farm in Kwekwe… HE Ramaphosa, just like HE Mnangagwa, has Ankole Cattle on his farm too… The two presidents have a well known bromance, no need for speculation & conspiracies…. South Africa is yet to implement a comprehensive land reform program, while Zimbabwe is moving on to give FULL OWNERSHIP (Title Deeds) to beneficiaries of the Land Reform Program…. The man leading the effort, Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei, is touring the farm with the two Presidents…

This story is dubious. The reality is that Parliamentarians require no additional enticement to endorse CAB3. Who among them would decline an amendment that potentially affords them an extended tenure in office? For many Members of Parliament, the financial burden of elections, often self-funded, looms large. Therefore, the prospect of amendments that prolong their time in office is likely to receive enthusiastic support. Giving them money to sway legislators towards CAB3 is not only redundant but an utter waste. Just like the electorate, lawmakers have grown weary of the electoral cycle, which has become a catalyst for division and turmoil. It is far more prudent to facilitate time for substantive development rather than perpetuate electoral procedures that merely serve to regress us under the pretense of fulfilling obligations. It is important to understand that the paradigms of development are not immutable; they must be tailored to align with the unique aspirations and objectives of each nation. As the President of the Zimbabwe Village Heads Association (ZIVHA), I can attest to the substantial backing CAB3 has in rural communities, which have borne the brunt of electoral violence. Many of those here disparaging the amendments are disconnected from the realities of an electoral season in many local communities.
𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐙𝐖@CrimeWatchZW

Team Pachedu says it has received reliable information that the people behind CAB3 have released large amounts of money to promote their message. In the coming days, many social media influencers, musicians, journalists, students, and lawyers may start creating and sharing content that supports ZANU PF and promotes the CAB3 agenda. Reports say that big amounts of money, between US$50,000 and US$80,000, may be given to influential people. The public should be ready for a strong wave of coordinated messaging and propaganda across different platforms.

Zimbabwe to Drop Colonial School Names in Major Renaming Drive. The Zimbabwean Government has announced plans to rename more than 60 schools across Harare, replacing colonial-era identities with names that reflect the country’s liberation history and local heritage. Under the proposal, Prince Edward High School would be renamed Murenga Boys, Queen Elizabeth School would become Sally Mugabe, while Lord Malvern High School is set to be rebranded as Waterfalls High. The exercise, which will affect at least 20 secondary schools and over 40 primary schools, is part of a broader Government initiative to reshape national identity through the education system and promote names that resonate with Zimbabwe’s history, values and aspirations. @AfricanHub_ @hwendec @GrainfulTrust @MadzivaNehemiah @Gambakwe @ZANUPF_Official @DrMutambudzi @Stocks75561658 @bosskimhucci @CdeNgomaNeHosho
