ZD tried to sell HG before shutting it down, likely to similar entities, who probably had the same view as ZD Why couldn't they just spin out HG into it's own thing? It would have been sustainable. Maybe it's the (valuable) Humble Bundle brand, which they wanted to keep. 4/4

There's no doubt that the whole shitshow with @PlayHumbleGames is a tragedy for indie publishing. But I can't understand how exactly this transpired - as far as I can tell, the fundamentals were good. Games were hitting the 100k> copies sold as much as other sustainable pubs 1/4
