Can we be honest, Isak has been a terrible signing. £125m for a striker on course to finish the season with just 4 goals in all competition🫢 We gambled on an injury-prone player and it’s failed spectacularly. At that price, he needed to hit the ground running. If United had signed him, we’d be laughing at them now for it. 'Wait for a full pre-season' is wishful thinking when he’s likely to come back injured from the World Cup anyway. Realistically, you can’t defend this as anything above a 1/10 signing right now.

Yeah it’s a very good result for us honestly. The one thing I’m wary of is that Villa will likely put up no fight on the last day as long as UCL and the Europa final are secured for them. But yeah, this was good. I still think 5 wins wins it. I do think city will drop points considering everyone they have except Villa is fighting for Europe (possibly even UCL). But even if they win all 5, I struggle to see them bettering our goal difference if we also win all 5 given the disparity in opponents. By even a generous estimation I’d say we should clear em by at least 2-3 goals in that scenario.

That’s a good result for Arsenal all things considered: - One less game for City to improve GD. - This was City’s easiest game remaining, Burnley have conceded the most goals in the PL - scoring one is poor. - City play only 1 more team in the bottom half, Arsenal play 4.
