According to reports, the delegation confirmed that they had also visited several affected female students receiving treatment at the hospital. The King assured them that the perpetrators would be brought to justice. In a related development, the Chief Priest of Ozoro, alongside Oramudhu leaders allegedly responsible for organizing and planning the festival without informing the king, were arrested by the Nigeria Police in connection with the incident. The King of Ozoro Kingdom has also banned the festival with immediate effect.
