The reason I don’t take X NG seriously is because many people here are well-off. So when I talk about POVERTY, I’m not referring to all the “Elon Musks” on this app. The reality in Nigeria is deeply worrying. People are so poor that a neighbor can harm another over ₦2,000. People are so poor that you send ₦5,000 to someone and their entire family kneels to thank you. The reality is dark and my biggest concern is the consequences. When a person has nothing to feed their family, survival instincts take over. People can be pushed to steal. There is no reason on earth Nigeria the Giant of Africa should depend on foreign loans if we had leaders properly harnessing the nation’s resources. Drop religious and ethnic bias for a moment and think: is this really how we should be living?
