if you personally feel happy seeing people take inspiration from your culture, that is completely fine. but you also don’t get to tell black people how we should feel about something that directly affects us nobody is arguing that black people invented every hairstyle in history

When I see someone learning something from my culture I get happy. If they adapt it to their culture and make it as their own then also it is all good that's how culture evolves. But the issue arises when the latest adaption starts policing about it while neglecting history of others.

@futchlver @soapyphantoms that’s the point though, in the teen tl natalie accepts her differences in beliefs against lottie compared to adult tl where she accepts lottie’s beliefs as the TRUTH in her plane death - it’s partially true for teen tl as at the end of s2 she accepts lottie wont ever change
