Alongside a number of colleagues who've signed a letter in support of the Prime Minister, I do not think it is the right time for our country to be engaged in a period of leadership introspection. I spoke to @BBCRadioKent this afternoon respecting the divergence of views held.

🚨 BREAKING National reporter @WillGodley shares breaking reports that Energy Secretary Ed Miliband has indicated to colleagues that he is ready to stand for the Labour leadership as Starmer faces pressure to resign.

When you tell millions of people from working class backgrounds who are your traditional voter base that they're somehow flawed, damaged and inherently bad for wanting to protect their country against hundreds of thousands of unknown men from third World countries arriving here on boats and being placed around the country in cities and quiet towns and villages, you immediately lose the right to expect their support. Saying it once is bad enough. Putting the same message on repeat, time and time again, is unforgivable. It's that simple.

Britain is the only country named in this thread. There is serious concern in the USA about the long-term impact of mass migration on Britain, motivated both by their interests (an increasingly foreign Britain will be a weaker ally) and sentiment (love for our shared culture).

I am convinced that Keir Starmer is a psychopath. Ever since his first few speeches as Prime Minister I could sense there was something very off with him; his automaton manner and his blank expression - he seemed dead behind the eyes. It was quite clear to me back then that this man does not feel humanity, empathy or compassion in the same way normal people do, or even at all, and his later desperate attempts to display emotion and feeling in his speeches were so obviously coached and forced. He is cold and calculating and determined to stay in power at all costs. He lies and gaslights pathologically and his level of delusion about the state of the country is very alarming. Starmer doesn't seem to care in the slightest about how unpopular he is and so obviously has a complete and utter disdain for the people he is meant to serve. We also shouldn't forget his mission to prosecute innocent army veterans. This man quite clearly has an evil streak in him. I rest my case.

WTF: So apparently this criminal, Rhamell Burke, attacked a young woman on the subway and chased her until she found police who could help her. She then DECLINED to press charges because she “didn’t want to put another black man in jail”. 5 weeks later, Burke shoves a 76-year-old retired teacher down a flight of stairs, killing him. And it gets WORSE because apparently NYPD officers had sent Burke to the Bellevue Hospital for psychiatric evaluation earlier that day and within FIVE HOURS of his release, he went on to kill 76-year-old, Ross Falzone, while still wearing his hospital PSYCHIATRIC BRACELET. Burke had also already been arrested four times prior for assault, burglary and resisting arrest. Yet another horrific death that could have been prevented if NYC had enacted basic law and order and put this man in prison where he belonged...

We are aware of this situation last night and are working with our colleagues in NYC to collect evidence and analyze potential charges.

Officers investigating a sexual assault on board a train between Doncaster and Wakefield have released this image in connection. At around 7pm on Tuesday 14 April, a man on board the train followed a woman through the train and sexually assaulted her. He then left the train at Wakefield Westgate railway station. Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation. Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 652 of 14 April.
