Last week, we attended the DFW Firefighter Cancer Symposium in Texas. We gave an intro to who we are at Sylvester FCI and presented current research projects as well as practical strategies and tools for reducing cancer risk, on the job and at home. Thank you to all who attended!

At today’s #DCCXVI Firefighter Cancer Initiative ceremony, we stood alongside the firefighters who ride, run and serve their communities. Led by Dr. Erin Kobetz and our multidisciplinary team, Sylvester's @fcifightscancer works to better understand how cancer affects the fire service and to develop real, evidence-based solutions to reduce cancer risk.
