We have our own Petite Picasso’s at the Creek! Elevate Summer Selfie’s with our incredible Art teacher, Mrs. Bryant. Celebrating diversity and the Arts through a canvas paint party!

Our Elevate Superhero students did some awesome superhero work our first week! We ended with learning about self control and first time listening from Mr. London @KicksKarate. We thank you for SO much fun, Mr London!

We are ready to Elevate at Ballenger Creek! I LOVE “gifting” to see teachers excited and happy! Now bring on the students!

How we respond to student behavior matters for students & for adults who work with them. We need responses to be centered around teaching & changing behaviors & yes we need adults to feel that appropriate action was taken. A balance that's hard to find, but worth the effort.

Stop comparing kids to each other. We know many kids are behind from where they are “supposed to be.” Instead compare kids to themselves. “Yesterday you called out inappropriately 5 times. Today 3 or less.” Better today than yesterday. Better tomorrow than today. #ThatOneKid
