I’m going to stick up for for, oil painting is harder than it looks and as painting go it’s not bad. She is trying to improve her life though something she enjoys, if you never try you will never know. Most people never try and just moan about how bad they have it. Part of me wants Greens to get into power. The judge is not having it from this one. This is 18 year old Kaitlyn Jones and she was arrested for assaulting a 14 Year old middle schooler and posting the attack on Tik Tok. The defense decided to plead no contest to the charges with hopes for a deferred sentence. Upon reviewing her case and history, the judge is not being fooled by her. Her request for a deferred sentence was denied and in the end she was sentenced to 45 days in jail and one year probation.

@fd3502441 @ChucklingChrly Never pled out? The judge literally tells you that you're plea agreement does not exist when you plead. You can have any agreement you want It is up to the judge what actually happens.

@GTay5482 @ChucklingChrly Clearly you did. The judge was already aware of the agreement prior to her being requested to plea. If he was not going to accept it, he should have made that clear. At best he has misled her and at worse duped her into pleading guilty. She would have had the right to trial.

@fd3502441 @ChucklingChrly A judge is free to reject sentencing recommendations in most jurisdictions, and an effective attorney has told his/her client of this possibility. Natural justice? I must have missed that part of law school.
