This Tuesday night on the FARM we will host Berea, Franklin County, Tates Creek, and Great Crossing for some 7 on 7 work. 6:30 start pending weather. We will have concessions open for this event as we work to get better.

44 days until KHSAA football officially kicks off the 2026 season. Starting to think about the Mr. Football race and think 2026 will be one of the more compelling battles in recent memory. History tells us the award is a combo of excellence in career, senior season stats, college 🏈 commitment and teams postseason advancement. Given those variables, I’d handicap the favorites as: 1. @JaHeisman (CAL) 2. @DremailC2027 (OCath) 3. @SenecaDriver (Boyle) 4. @ZaneJohnson_3 (Trinity) Plenty of studs in Class of ‘27 that can sneak into contention but this is the clear Tier 1 IMO.

As dead period comes to a close I spent the past few days just really thinking about what the game of football has blessed me with. All the players, coaches, teachers, boosters, and administrators who have helped me along the 22 year journey so far. As I enter year 23 and 14 as a head coach I'm very grateful for it all and want to wish all the players and coaches the best of luck during the 2026 football season. I'm looking forward to running out our @FDouglassFB team to honor our 10th year of the program but we have a very tough schedule ahead. Thank you to all the coaches who sacrifice so much for the kids.
