Boris: Rishi, can you find another way to shaft young people and get more money out of them in the future to pay for largesse for other target groups today? Rishi: Coming right up boss ft.com/content/f77fe7…

@aconda_ann @Scoutdwriter @crd_96 @bethanstaton @pmdfoster @GeorgeWParker That always was the case that some older people finished, sometimes early, so younger people had jobs to go to. It’s a changed world for sure and not for the better. I’d love nothing more than to take early retirement but the way the country has become not much chance😭

@bethanstaton @pmdfoster @GeorgeWParker At a time where it is the most difficult for young people to find solid starts out of university and tuition fees are at their highest. This is the 'Keep them poor, keep them stupid' portion of Conservative philosophy, demonstrated in its purest form.

Ex civil contingencies chief Mike Granatt tells @BBCr4today that @BorisJohnson ought to do what Tony Blair did in 2000 and hold a news conference on fuel crisis. "It's called leadership. And we need some. Someone needs to stand up and say this to people rather than hide away."

@kevinoils_kevin @Hazelmcall @rhian80646141 I explained above, doesn’t really affect me but do you really expect someone on £8hr to go to extra expense of ‘relocating’ couple of days a week, expense they won’t get back. Having to use public transport is a push for people on national living wage

@BBCBreakfast Can’t imagine your pain,it’s most people’s biggest fear and these brave men’s mental health must be suffering also. But why are BBC hypocrites running this, they’re part of the problem

@waynebroad12 @BBCBreakfast All governments do the same. Tories no better, last 18 months, kids, grandkids etc will be paying it back. Issue with that was not the spending but where it went. Surely nobody could warrant spending on a boat

@TSJ671 @BBCBreakfast Sick of seeing nearly empty buses. Ones I’ve seen, probably fit the passengers (apart from rush hour) in a mini. There’s your next shortage, taxi drivers (if diesel doesn’t run out)
