Imagine reading 700 chapters of Naruto where characters got healed a billion times, Pain literally bringing a entire village back from the dead and Naruto healing people injuries like Jesus but Inojin getting his eyes healed is too much? LMAO!
Come on, are you even serious? 🤣
@SimplyTroy2 Inojin being just that blatantly blind could also bring up some plot errors.. challenging the depth of himawari’s insane healing that was able to heal sarada's broken arm within seconds..
Now on to THIS part of the chapter. I would personally find more enjoyment in seeing somebody like Inojin becoming blind but that’s just my personal preference that I think would lead to more interesting interactions
THIS is where the disagreement happens.
When the quality of writing is looked at. In boruto or Naruto stakes aren’t just one thing they’re mostly ideological with the heavy stakes coming in different forms.
Each shinju arc has taken a life so far. Saying it doesn’t make sense or is bad is completely unfounded. Naruto and boruto teaches you about guts/the heart to put your life on the line which is what Inojin did. Boruto also teaches you that love rewards which is what inojin received once he was tested.
Doesn’t ruin a moment at all
If you are disappointed with Inojin not being blind, go ahead
But calling it bad writing aint it lol, reducing everything this arc did to that and even in some cases reducing the entire chapter to JUST that when it had so much more is simply odd.

@Scorch_Shot I'm glad there are still people who expect this scenario.
Unfortunately, since Inojin was okay, I'm afraid Ino and Sai will be forgiving and leave Shikamaru alone
@Ayanaksamo@Eternalbyakugou@batsycats Why does it need to be a surprise for the readers?
And why would Sakura keep that a secret from her own daughter?
@batsycats Yeh cause Sakura telling Sarada that she can use her powers however she wants to support Boruto even if it means going blind doesn’t feel like it was only about encouraging her. I think Sakura already has a plan in mind in case that actually happens
@Maixken_@vntgeprosprty You realize the village was devastated by Naruto’s “passing” and has been on lockdown since. You really would have rather had Sakura randomly break down about Naruto and how she’s felt about it for the last three years? And she doesn’t “let” her kid go blind, she can’t heal it.
@Bleedforlives@Kurorealciel2 What "professional advice"?
All she says of the matter is "you're eventually go blind" and then for the rest of the conversation Sakura encourages Sarada to keep doing what she feels it's right.
The blindness issue is glossed over as if it doesn't matter.
@Kurorealciel2 ??? Did sakura personally put sarada into war ? Is sarada dying of MS ? Sarada returns and sakura warned her yet did not discourage her, held back tears, gave both professional and personal advice. That trust and space is what sarada needed.. why i said what i said.
@yhl430609351@snwfllll@PhilbertFrog And then what? Are we just going to lose the Ino-Shika-Cho formation in the story?? I might agree with you if this happened toward the very end, but Inojin going blind wouldn't just be the end for his character, it ruins the dynamic too
I love Ike, I really do, but what the fuck, man.
He really walked off with no consequences…It genuinely feels like there’s no risk in the story anymore.
