Over £31,000 now pledged towards my effort to climb Mont Ventoux; 35 months on from full paralysis caused by transverse myelitis. My attempt halted after 2-hours because my legs literally collapsed on the bike, but I went back 4 days later and finished the journey....

@pauleldred If I'm right that it was a police officer then I suspect that's the best outcome. The traffic literally ground to a halt just before we got there, but there were already folks on the bridge at that time and I'm thinking they were already on the scene...

One of the annoying "joys" of my TM is the fact that, on days like this, I don't want to do anything active outside as the neuro burning pain from muscle activity is exacerbated considerably by the added complication of genuine heat. 🤬🤬🤬😭
