@CLC_Softball Rachel has had success everywhere she has played. CLC got see what a great softball player she is. Quite a season. Congrats, Rachel!!

Doctors told Rachel she would never play again. Local Grayslake Central player, we were blessed when she decided to come home. Team captain & unanimous choice as the Illinois Skyway Player of the Year! 474 Average, 72 hits, 18 doubles, 7 triples 12 HR, 70 RBI and 20 Stolen.

Shota Imanaga may be the Chicago Cubs' greatest free-agent signing since Andre Dawson in 1987 (MVP, $500,000) if he keeps pitching like this. Imanaga, 5-0, throws seven more shutout innings and now has a 0.65 ERA in his first seven MLB starts.

@drcarter29 Coach always gives credit to his players and assistant coaches, but sustaining long term success also comes from the many hours of preparation he puts in to the program. A well deserved honor. Congratulations!

Bradley, who is not on this list, still plays three teams on here later in the year. Bradley also has two victories already over teams that might make it on here later in the year as well.

Northwestern does have to be mindful of the community, but spending big money for a handful of football games and other events makes little sense.

@ChiSoxFanMike I respect your passion for the White Sox. With the right owner and GM, there is no reason they can't be successful. The division doesn't have any great teams. Hiring Getz is the wrong move. As long Reinsdorf owns the team, I don't see success any time soon. #objectivecubsfan

Being the White Sox GM is actually an intriguing opportunity on the surface if you think about it: • Terrible division • Can outspend every division rival • Incredible job security once hired • Superstar to build around If they did a proper search, they could land a rising star from a winning organization to lead this franchise moving forward. But since Jerry Reinsdorf is doing the search, he’ll hire Chris Getz or TLR’s grandson or something.
