It’s extremely good that Anthropic has not backed down, and it’s siginficant that OpenAI has taken a similar stance. In the future, there will be much more challenging situations of this nature, and it will be critical for the relevant leaders to rise up to the occasion, for fierce competitors to put their differences aside. Good to see that happen today.

It has become very apparent that Jeffrey Epstein was grooming some of his victims to become traffickers. Some of the most horrifying emails being widely circulated are not from men, but from women who claimed to be victims (hence some of the redactions). Once you turn 18, if you are still engaged in trafficking children, that is a choice. At that point you’re no longer a victim, you’re a co-conspirator. To be clear, not all victims are guilty of this, however it’s a fact that some of them are. Yes you heard that right, some of the women claiming to be victims helped traffic children. Clearly this is just the tip of the iceberg but it’s important to recognize the facts.

It is crazy that massive book piracy was so critical to the early days of both OpenAI and Anthropic. In 2025, Anthropic co-founder Ben Mann testified that he himself had downloaded the massive pirate library LibGen at Anthropic. He did so only a few months after the company was founded in 2021. He also downloaded another pirate library, Books3, the very month Anthropic was founded. It was used to train Claude 1 & Claude 2. He *also* said he had previously downloaded LibGen when he was at OpenAI. OpenAI used books from LibGen to train GPT-3 and GPT-3.5. And he went further - he said he understood that LibGen had also been downloaded by Alec Radford at OpenAI. Radford led the development of GPT-1 and GPT-2. Whatever today’s models were trained on, billions of dollars were raised off the back of models trained on pirated books, and those books were downloaded by some of the most important researchers at the companies in question. The AI industry is built on piracy.

Nobody has fought harder for full release of the Epstein files and prosecutions of those who abused children more than I did, knowing full well that the legacy media, far-left propagandists and those who are actually guilty would: 1. Admit nothing 2. Deny everything 3. Make counter-accusations against me I knew that I would be smeared relentlessly, despite never having attended his parties or been on his “Lolita Express” plane or set foot on his creepy island or done anything wrong at all. Nonetheless, the extreme pain of being accused of being the opposite of who I am was worth it. The strong must protect those cannot protect themselves, especially vulnerable children. I will gladly accept any amount of future pain to do more to protect kids and give them a chance to grow up and have happy lives.
