🛡️🚀 Mimir Launches Public Tool to Help Safe Multi-Sig Users Ensure Transaction Security! 🚀🛡️
In the recent Bybit $1.5 billion hack, attackers exploited a vulnerability in the Safe frontend, tricking multi-sig wallet signers into signing malicious transactions. This event serves as a reminder that simply trusting front-end interfaces is not enough — independent channels are crucial to verify the authenticity of transaction content.
To protect multi-sig users, Mimir has released a public good tool — safe-tx-verifier, designed to help users verify transaction content and signatures before submitting transactions, minimizing the risks of front-end attacks.
How to use the safe-tx-verifier tool?
1️⃣ Paste Safe transaction link
Simply paste the transaction link from the Safe frontend into the safe-tx-verifier tool.
2️⃣ Auto-parse transaction content
The tool automatically reads data from the Safe backend, verifying the transaction's hash and whether the signatures are valid, ensuring the content you are signing matches the real transaction.
3️⃣ Verify signature passes
If the transaction content and signatures are valid, you can confidently submit the transaction on-chain; if the verification fails, the system will alert you, preventing you from signing a malicious transaction.

Why is this important?
In traditional multi-sig workflows, the content a user sees may differ from what is actually being signed. Independent chafront-endnnel verification is key to preventing frontend tampering. No matter how the frontend is attacked, as long as the signature and transaction content do not match, users can detect the issue through the verification tool and reject the transaction.
Mimir, as a public project, aims to provide transparent, reliable, and secure tools for the blockchain community, allowing every user to confidently use multi-sig wallets to manage their assets.
