@metalheadprntg I love it, but I keep seeing prices get lower and lower, and people opting for cheaper lower quality items… I really enjoy selling at markets, but I suspect that the niche market I’ve been in is going to be less worthwhile before long. I’ll keep making stuff for friends tho.

Saw @IronMaiden last night. Show was amazing as always, but I was especially impressed by the opening band, @TheHuOfficial - Mongolian metal with traditional Mongolian instruments. Their sound is right in the sweet spot for what I like. So glad for that experience 🤘🤘

@makertater I have a lot of trouble getting rid of stuff. T-shirts in particular. I long ago stopped buying any that weren’t particularly clever or funny or from a concert or for a band I really like. But some of them I just don’t wear because fit or scratchy/stiff. Need to let go 😬

The toughest part with be the clothes closets. I have 2 _full_ closets and in reality only wear about the same 18-21 outfits. I need to let go (mentally) of all the clothes I used to wear that probably don’t even fit any more. I’ve been getting a little starchy around the waist.

Getting closer to my goal this week of throwing away 100kg of clutter. I’ve kept too much and some of it has to go!

@JoelWritesGood Right? I’ve been hearing more stories of people getting caught by these new scams. Some are way less obvious.

@thezolon I’m sorry everything’s messed up, but glad you got validation of the pain and hope the specialist can help. Wish we lived in a future where things like this could be *fixed* - I’ve got a lot of spine/disc stuff too.

MRI results: fucked So, only l1 and l2 discs are ok. EVERYTHING else is bulging.. the curvature is worse.. and the narrowing is worse.. and.. yeah. Doc flat out said the pain isn't in my head.. being sent to a specialist.

@loxvan1ty I actually call my cats by almost anything other than their names unless I’m yelling at them. So T’Pau probably thinks her name is “baby girl” and Leonard probably thinks his name is “GODDAMNITLEONARD” or “LEONARD STOP THAT” or Chaos Goblin or Meatball 😹

do ppl actually call their pets by their name. like don’t we all call our cat ‘cat’ and our dog ‘dog’ .
