@All_My_Ghosts @blur_tekoshia @DrProudman Every single culture has a problem with women being raped. Some may be slightly worse than others but it’s everywhere. In the UK, 80% of these are committed by white British men. If you really want to stop women being raped, let’s start with the biggest group of perpetrators.

@avastone01235 @seige_of @toadmeister Nobody is ignoring it. What women are saying is that it represents a very small proportion of violent crimes against women. Zeroing in on this specific group is what’s racist when the same people demanding action don’t want to talk about the other 80% of VAWG offences by yt men

@seige_of @toadmeister The vast majority of grooming gang offences are from Arabic men though. Avoiding that fact to avoid being racist isn’t helpful, especially since their numbers are growing rapidly through both legal and illegal migration.

Feminist lawyer Charlotte Proudman has done some great work drafting legislation to criminalise forced marriage and FGM, says Steven Tucker. But when it comes to the rape gangs, she has a glaring blind spot. dailysceptic.org/2025/02/07/the…

@kenjirapzilla @TheSylvreWolfe @DrProudman And a final point of order. More than 90 of the victims of violent crime are women. Only in murder cases are men at higher risk (from other men). So men are not more likely to be the victims of violent crime. Unless you don’t believe SA is violent?

@AngelaRayner @MoS_Politics Clearly at attempt to discredit an increasingly popular and relatable politician they see as a threat. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’ve got them on the run now!

@bikeanddogtrips @PayGapApp It’s based on an hourly rate for the hours worked and broken down into 4 bands from highest to lowest paid. They also have low numbers in higher paying positions. It’s not wrong to ask questions but you could try doing some research yourself before entering the conversation.

@PayGapApp Genuine question. Is the gpg calculated on an hourly rate, by the hour, or do they take a guy's weekly pay & divide by 40 hours & do the same for a woman's, even if she did few hours - which would show as a lower hourly rate. What statistics fail to show is that historically

@PayGapApp This is the community arm of Chelsea FC not the club itself. And there’s still work for them to do on increasing the number of women who work there.

@PayGapApp How tho? Different jobs pay differently. Are there exactly 50% men and 50% woman in each job?

@PayGapApp Interesting how the men react to these rare examples of women being paid more yet are either silent on the others or question the validity of the data.

@EamonReilly_com 22% of women will experience some kind of physical or sexual violence from a man in their lifetime. If someone told you you had a 22% chance of dying in an airplane crash, how many times do you think you’d fly in your lifetime? It’s not all men but it’s a big risk.

@irish_82 @sahaharaa_ @Ben_Scallan @Raisin_Girl It also looks from your profile that you created this account simply to come online and insert your misogyny into this painful and necessary conversation. If you’d like to educate yourself better on the current male violence against women statistics, Google is only a click away.
