In Entebbe, I celebrated a meaningful milestone by passing the torch to DGE Gerald Obai. Moments like these remind me that Rotary leadership is a shared journey, fueled by our collective purpose and unwavering dedication to service. Gerald, as you set out on this new chapter, know that you have my wholehearted support and trust. You’ll never walk alone. #RotaryEyamba

Heartbreaking Scene of Child Mourning His Mother A deeply emotional incident has surfaced, capturing the painful reality of a young child struggling to understand the loss of his mother. According to eyewitness accounts, the little boy was seen clinging tightly to his mother’s coffin, firmly believing that she was only asleep and would eventually wake up. Despite efforts by family members and neighbors to console him, he refused to leave her side. Sources revealed that in the days leading up to her passing, the child had remained close to his mother as she battled her illness. Each day, he reportedly sat beside her, watching and waiting, hopeful that she would recover. Tragically, she passed away, leaving him confused and unable to grasp the permanence of death. During the burial preparations, the boy stayed beside the coffin throughout the night, refusing to rest or move away, holding on with the hope that his mother would return. The incident highlights the profound emotional impact of parental loss on young children and serves as a sobering reminder of the fragility of life and the silent grief many children endure.

As a District, @rotaryd9213 we have raised over $1 million, connected with more than 20,000 people through Family Health Days, inspired 1,500 young leaders, and shared our story with 540 million people using #RotaryEyamba. This is what it means to unite for good. Yet our journey is far from over. I urge every Rotarian, Rotaractor, and partner to press on with renewed determination. Let’s serve deeper, give greater, and extend our impact even further. Every day left is a new opportunity. Let’s finish strong and create a legacy that will inspire generations to come. #RotaryEyamba

My husband made this and put it in our garden. I said it doesn't look nice, but he said it looks great. I'd love to hear your opinions! What do you think 🤔

Join me as I celebrate 10 years of Midwifery practice… Yes it’s a decade already …..💃🥳🎊🎉 10 years later, I stand here not just with experience but with stories, with lessons, with moments that have shaped me in ways words can never fully explain. I have held hands in fear… and in hope. I have witnessed the strength of women and families in their most vulnerable moments. I have seen life begin… I have seen life end I have struggled with systems I have stood in spaces where words were never enough. Midwifery has stretched me. It has broken me at times… and built me in ways I am deeply grateful for. But beyond the clinical work, something else was growing in me… A voice. A responsibility. A desire to do more.. To mentor. To advocate for women. To stand for midwives. To advance. To transition. Today ,am not just that ordinary midwife , am a contributor Regionally, Nationally and globally. 10 years later… I am not the same woman who started. I am more aware. More grounded. More intentional. And I know this is only the beginning. Here’s to 10 years of purpose…💃🥳 to many more lives still waiting to be touched and to thinking beyond the bedside. #WomenInHealth #Midwife #10Years
