Receiving the text of messages is really fast, download of media included in messages takes much longer. On average, it should be possible to retrieve around a few million messages per day (only text) or ~300.000 messages per day including image files (no video & audio)

Your session can no longer be used if it was accessed from two IP addresses simultaneously. Using AWS lambda the IP will vary on each execution. Handle errors to get a clean exit, add a delay before the next run and monitor your logs for errors (e.g. CloudWatch).
