Not only mental overhead for humans. Vite+ collapses the tooling complexity for agents too. Right now it still needs skills /prompts to bridge the gap, but once next batch of models get trained on it… just wait.
Boshen@boshen_c
Been using Vite+ and it’s kinda wild how much mental overhead it removes.

🚀 tsdown 0.21.4 just dropped. CSS Modules are now supported.
Also, the `tsdown-migrate` skill lets your agent auto-migrate from tsup to tsdown.

Vite+: We'll be adding support for Bun as a package manager, but we are not planning on making bun work as a runtime at this time.

Some thoughts on the Vite+ launch:
* I love interactive `vp` and `vp run`. So much faster to find the right task in a monorepo. Vite Task is the first JS task runner that I like.
* The initial plan was to name the binary `vite`. This would have caused a lot of confusion for humans and AI: "Which Vite is it?" I love `vp`, it's shorter than all the others.
* The blog post intentionally mentions "AI" only once, in the context of building for "humans and AI". It might not always be this way, but right now I believe that we should optimize for both.
* A big theme of Vite+ is to actually simplify workflows. `vp check` is one example where we finally collapse static checks back into a single command. Similarly, Vite+ manages Node.js and package managers so you only need to install one thing and it takes care of everything for you.
* Vite+ is in alpha, but it's ready for adoption. We'll focus on making it ready to cover more use cases and we'll listen to the community about where to focus our time.
