We have been made aware of a distressing image doing the rounds today, suggesting Tottenham have beaten us 3-1. This has clearly been photoshopped, and we will be taking this up with the relevant authorities. Even we'd beat Spurs...

The biggest 2 clubs in England are United and Liverpool. This is beyond question. In terms of domestic & European football it cannot be argued against. They both have long histories of success, with few fallow periods. Their dominance from early 70s to end of the 80s for LFC and the 90's onwards for Utd, means they have huge numbers of fans across the country and globally. Because this is just simply fact, whilst the banter goes on and both clubs will be severely disliked by many, there is a level of respect for them, especially in the MSM.
