Bitcoin maxis today are the complete opposite of Bitcoiners on inception. As someone who was a huge Bitcoin bull in 2011, I’ll tell you right now, none of the modern day Bitcoin maximalists have the same core values. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. We used to believe in decentralization, freedom, and transparency. Nowadays, they are begging banks to bail them out, they want to censor all critics, constantly lying / spreading fake news, and promoting centralized scams like Tether and Lightning Network.
